🧾Faith Is the Evidence: When Silence Tests Your Sight

Child of the Living God… come here for a minute 🤎

Let me say this slow.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
— Hebrews 11:1

Faith is not pretending.

Faith is not hype.

Faith is not closing your eyes and wishing hard.

Faith is substance.

Substance means something you can stand on.
It has weight.
It holds you up.
It supports you when your natural eyes cannot confirm what God has promised.

Now hold my hand right here 🤝🏾

Because this is where many of God’s babies stumble.

Silence comes.

The prayer hasn’t shifted yet.
The situation still looks the same.
The marriage hasn’t softened.
The door hasn’t opened.
The grief hasn’t lifted.

And your eyes start talking to you đź‘€

But 2 Corinthians 5:7 tells us:

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

Walk.

Daily.

Not just when things are moving.
Not just when you see evidence.
Daily.

Faith is the evidence of things not seen.

That means there is proof — even if it is not visible.

You are not standing on air.

You are standing on promise.

And promise has never failed. Not once. 🙌🏾

Silent Saturday and the Test of Sight

Let’s go back to Silent Saturday.

By sight?

Jesus was dead.
The tomb was sealed.
The stone was heavy.
The guards were posted.

By perception?

He had already declared victory.
He had already said He would rise. (John 2:19)
He had already finished the work. (John 19:30)

The disciples saw a sealed tomb.

Heaven was securing resurrection.

While they were grieving behind locked doors (John 20:19),
Jesus was taking the keys of death and hell. (Revelation 1:18) 🔑

Silence was not absence.

It was transition.

But they did not perceive it.

And that is where many believers struggle today.

Not because God is not moving.

But because sight is louder than faith.

The Mental Attack Nobody Talks About 🧠

Jesus said:

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…”
— John 10:10

Steal first.

He steals peace.
He steals clarity.
He steals perception.

And where does he begin?

In the mind.

Not every thought you think originated with you.

2 Corinthians 10:5 tells us to cast down imaginations and bring every thought into captivity.

You don’t take captive what belongs to you.

You take captive what attempts to enter. (To take captive means to capture, seize, or keep a person or animal as a prisoner against their will, typically by force or in war).

A thought whispers:

“Maybe I’m being punished.”

“This silence means God isn’t listening.”
“Remember what you did this week? Why would He answer you?”
“Maybe this is Him moving away from you.”
“Maybe you disqualified yourself.”

And because it sounds like your internal voice…
you assume it’s yours.

But Revelation 12:10 calls the enemy the accuser of the brethren.

Accusation pushes you away from God.

Conviction draws you back to Him.

There is a difference.

Conviction says, “Come back.” 🤲🏾
Accusation says, “Stay away.”

Romans 8:1 says:

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.”

None.

Hebrews 13:5 says:

“I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

Never means never.

So, if a thought suggests abandonment, it contradicts covenant.

And anything that contradicts covenant does not get to stay. đźš«

The Helmet and the Sword 🪖⚔️

Ephesians 6:17 says:

“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”

The helmet guards the head.

If the head is compromised, nothing else matters.

The helmet of salvation reminds you:

I am redeemed.
I am adopted. (Romans 8:15)
I am not condemned. (Romans 8:1)
I am not abandoned.

Salvation secures identity.

And once identity is secure, you can use the sword.

Because the sword — the Word of God — is your only offensive weapon.

Jesus did not argue with Satan in the wilderness.

He said, “It is written.” (Matthew 4)

But if you don’t recognize you are under attack, you will never reach for the sword.

And many believers don’t recognize it.

They think it’s just stress.

Just emotion.

Just personality.

But sometimes it is spiritual pressure.

And if you don’t guard your mind, sight will rewrite what God has spoken.

Faith Is Higher Perception 🕊️

Isaiah 43:19 says:

“Behold, I will do a new thing… shall ye not know it?”

Knowing is deeper than seeing.

Perception is spiritual awareness.

2 Corinthians 4:18 says:

“For the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

Temporal means temporary.

Subject to change.

Faith does not deny what it sees.

Faith refuses to let what it sees outrank what God has said.

Baby, just because you cannot see it does not mean it is not solid.

Faith is substance.

There is weight under your feet.

You are standing on covenant.

And covenant does not collapse because circumstances look still. 🙏🏾

If God spoke it, it stands. (Isaiah 55:11)
If He began it, He will finish it. (Philippians 1:6)
If He promised it, it is yes and amen. (2 Corinthians 1:20)

Spoken Prayer 🗣️🕊️

Father God,

In the Mighty and Holy Name of Jesus Christ,

I thank You that my faith is not empty.
It is substance.
It is evidence of what my eyes cannot yet see.

I declare that I will walk by faith and not by sight, according to 2 Corinthians 5:7, in Jesus Name.

I recognize that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy — and he begins in the mind. (John 10:10)

So today, I guard my thoughts, in Jesus Name.

I put on the helmet of salvation, according to Ephesians 6:17.

I declare that I am redeemed.
I am adopted, according to Romans 8:15,
I am not condemned, according to Romans 8:1,
And, I am never forsaken, according to Hebrews 13:5, in Jesus Name.

Any thought that contradicts Your Word is not permitted to remain.

I cast down imaginations and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, according to 2 Corinthians 10:5, in Jesus Name.

I refuse to interpret silence as abandonment.

I trust that You are working even when I cannot see it. I believe that You are working all things together for my good, in Jesus Name.

My faith stands on covenant.

And I will stand steady until sight catches up with what You have already declared.

In Jesus Christ’s Mighty and Holy Name,

Amen. 🙌🏾

And Brothers and Sisters in Christ, hear me clearly 🤎 — you were never meant to fight mental warfare alone. If your thoughts feel heavy, if silence feels loud, if your faith feels stretched, submit a prayer request. Let us stand with you. Let us join our faith with yours. There is strength in the Body of Christ. You are not weak for asking for prayer — you are wise. We are here to walk with you. 🤝🏾🕊🏾

Tiffani Grady

Coach Minister, Tiffani Grady

Servant Founder & Architect of Kingdom Transformation for Spirit Led Ministries

My name is Coach Minister, Tiffani Grady, and I am simply a servant—called, appointed, and anointed by the Holy Spirit to build what God has entrusted to my hands. Spirit Led Ministries was birthed from a vision the Lord gave me: a place where the Gospel is proclaimed with purity, where the love of Jesus Christ is demonstrated through tangible acts of compassion, and where believers are discipled into a deeper walk of faith.

From the very beginning, God made it clear that SLM would not be built by human strategy, but by Holy Spirit leadership, obedience, and surrendered dependence. He revealed to me a blueprint—just as He did with Noah, Moses, and David—showing me that my role is not only to minister to people but to architect the structure, culture, and spiritual foundation of this ministry. Everything we do flows from Jesus’s command in Matthew 25:40 and His call to love God wholly and love our neighbor selflessly.

I serve as a Christian Counselor Coach, an ordained minister, and a graduate with a degree in Leadership and Ministry. These God-given tools help equip me to walk alongside individuals with wisdom, biblical insight, and the heart of a shepherd. But above all, my qualification is this: God called me. Every teaching, every outreach, every devotional, and every act of service is guided by the voice of the Holy Spirit and grounded in the Word of God.

My heart burns to see lives transformed—not by human strength, but by the power of God. Through weekly Bible studies, communal meals, Holy Communion, prayer, outreach, and practical assistance such as gas cards and Wave card reloads, SLM exists to live out the Gospel in a way that restores dignity, builds community, and draws souls to Christ.

As the Servant Founder & Architect of Kingdom Transformation, I am committed to:

• Building a Christ-centered community of believers

• Demonstrating the love of Jesus through service

• Teaching biblical truth with clarity and compassion

• Creating safe spaces for healing, fellowship, and spiritual growth

• Listening to the Holy Spirit in everything

My story is still unfolding, and so is SLM—but one thing is certain: God is the Builder. I am simply His vessel, saying “yes” to the blueprint He has placed before me.

If the Lord has led you here, welcome. You are loved, you are seen, and you are part of what God is doing through Spirit Led Ministries.
