No one should have to face life alone
Spirit Led Ministries is founded on the scripture in Matthew 25:40, “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me”. We believe that God blessed this earth with billions of people so that no one has to do this thing called “life” alone. It is not enough to rely on conventional churches to minister (serve) the people who are in lack, we are all called to this ministry. We are the Church! We are called to love one another as we love ourselves, to care for the poor, and to live our lives in such a way that we point people to the power of the Gospel.
A cause close to my heart
My name is Tiffani Grady, Founding Director of Spirit Led Ministries. I became a single mother at the ripe age of 16. Through a series of hardships, bad decisions, death of loved ones, and unforeseen circumstances, I have found myself facing homelessness several times during my life. I am so very grateful to the many nonprofits and religious organizations that have blessed my life, but I have found that there is an untapped resource that is continually underutilized - our neighbors, our communities, and our fellow humans.
Transportation Assistance
At Spirit Led Ministries, we believe that no one should miss out on opportunities for work, healthcare, or spiritual growth due to lack of transportation. Our Transportation Assistance Program provides free bus tickets to individuals in need within our community. Whether it’s getting to a job interview, a doctor’s appointment, or one of our ministry gatherings, we’re here to help bridge the gap - one ride at a time.
Emergency Food Assistance Program
No one should have to choose between feeding their family and meeting other essential needs. The Emergency Food Assistance Program is a way to extend God’s love by offering a one-time blessing of groceries to individuals and families facing hardship. This support is intended to provide temporary relief and encouragement during difficult times. Due to limited resources, assistance can currently be provided once every six months, until full funding allows for greater outreach.
Re-homing Essentials
Spirit Led Ministries repurposes the resources that God has already provided, to those who are in lack, the less fortunate, and the unhoused. We gratefully accept gently used household items, clothing, shoes, pots and pans, etc., and we then re-home those same items to the people who are in need of them. However, due to limited storage capacity, we can currently only accept donations of specific items that have been requested. We provide pick up service to those who wish to donate and delivery to those who are in need but lack transportation, all free of charge.
